Facebook mobile news feed not updating
Update: There is a fix for u Block Origin filters to address this problem if yours is caused by that extension.
See: https:// Block Origin/comments/7mxddl/facebook_newsfeed_going_crazy_when_ublock_on/drxioqo/ I wonder if you have tried "the usual": If a site is generally known to work in Firefox, these are general suggestions to try when it stops working correctly: Cache and Cookies: When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
And most of that communication happens on my news feed -- where I comment on posts from the people & pages I follow.
But this bug makes this critical communication nearly impossible.
I tried removing the Spotify app from Facebook, then reconnecting to Facebook from Spotify.com, but the Spotify app came back as a Facebook profile section showing the exact same thing: Did the new Spotify update also kill the Spotify Facebook App?

Please Refresh but do this 1st: *https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/export-firefox-bookmarks-to-backup-or-transfer *https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles then *https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings TEST.......
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). ''' Testing in Firefox's Safe Mode:''' In Safe Mode, Firefox temporarily deactivates extensions, hardware acceleration, and some other advanced features to help you assess whether these are causing the problem. So I figured I'd check my extensions one by one (only had 3). The developer of u Block Origin is very attentive to user issues.
Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance. If there is good news here, it might be that most Facebook users are viewing the social network on mobile devices -- and the issue doesn't seem to be affecting them. But there are fewer Facebook ads on mobile, and I'd guess mobile users are less likely to make purchases than those using a desktop computer. If so, tell me about your experience in the comments below.
